![]() THE SWINGIN' MARMALUKEYS! (Mar . Muh . Loo . Keez). Swingin' Marmalukeys are an eclectic string band who play cowboy gypsy party music. Cowboy; like Bob Wills, Gypsy; like Django Reinhardt, and Party; like Dr. John. The basic trio is Brook Adams on Guitar and Ukulele, Tim Miller on Bass and Ukulele, and Jon Neher on Dobro, Soprano Sax and Mandolin. We have an occasional fourth Marmalukey, Sylvain DuPlant who plays Guitar, Bass and Accordion. Tight swingin' rhythm from Tim and Brook and red hot solos from Jon are complimented by strong vocal harmonies to make a swing dancers delight. click here for our PRESS KIT
| m01 Party In The Cemetery | The pioneer cemetery behind University of Oregon, just blocks away from the annual Halloween Frat Party Riots, is a place where people ...party! | |||
| m02 New Orleans | Jon Neher wrote this one about the greatest American city. | |||
| m03 Wonderful World | Tim on lead vocals here. I never get tired of this tune... and thats why youre hearing it now. | |||
| m04 Remington Ride | Herb Remington was one of the later steel players for Bob Wills and he wrote this swell tune with Hank Penny. | |||

This was my old band Here are some samples from the first CD. Click here to buy it.
| If You Know What You Want | A message of optimism and encouragement. Kind of a funky pollyanna. | |||
| Likely Story 1 | This isnt actually Love Death and Agriculture but back in Arizona I had this informal group we called the Bob Miller Band. Bob Miller didn't actually play in the band but we liked his name. This was recorded in the Orme School music classroom with a dynamic mic to pick the kick drum and the bass and two shotgun mikes pointed out into the room. | |||
| Likely Story 2 | When I returned to Oregon I briefly revived my old band Love Death & Agriculture. Here is a version recorded in a real studio. | |||
| Listen | Here is my philosophical world view in a nutshell. | |||
| Love Shark | Some guys just gotta hit on every woman they see. Here is a song about it from the masher's point of view. | |||
| Poisonous | I wrote this song about a real person I used to know. Damn! | |||
