Latest CD by the Swingin' Marmalukeys!

Tunnel Of Sharks

Get It Now from CDBABY! This CD has a lotta cool covers from the 60's and 70's like Rolling Stones, Hugh Masakela and Mott The Hoople. Also three new originals, including the title cut and the historically ridiculous... 'One Mon Taliban' which I have decided to post over on the audio page under weird ukulele. You can also get the chords and lyrics from the ukulele>charts page.

Our First CD

I wrote Party In The Cemetery about some boisterous goings on in the Pioneer Cemetery behind the library at U of O. Go Ducks! Jon Neher wrote New Orleans, 'tswunna my favorites y'know? That's Tim Miller singing and playing uke on Wonderful World with Sylvan Duplant covering bass.

Marmalukeys Press Kit

The Swingin' Marmalukeys started out as an acoustic swing band. We were trying to get in on the Django Reinhardt craze back in 2004. The ukulele and our record collections drove us off course. We played Tom Waits and Randy Newman songs, then reggae versions of 70s rock and a fair amount of originals. Nowdays, we still do a lotta swing but we also sing thick vocal harmony and play a buncha different instruments. We can even bring a drummer.
